Can Brightpearl manage pre-orders and back orders?
Brightpearl easily supports back orders. You can either split individual items off to a separate order (for instance when you need to send an invoice to your customer), or you can update the sales status to “Back Order” or similar (even when some items have already been marked as shipped). Furthermore, back ordered items can automatically be allocated to their respective sales orders when they arrive in the warehouse.
